P2
Presenter 1 talks in a slightly less formal address and talks more to the audience directly. The tone of voice and manner of speaking was always calm and collected which always make the audience feel more involved.
Presenter 2 seems more excited/surprised about the antiques being in the pub which comes across during his interviews. He doesn't talk directly to the audience but does deal with people. this makes him more involved with surrounding events which is a slightly different angle for the audience relations.

News:
In this content, they give a basic overlay of what is happening in the local area. This would include any important events, any other important news from different areas or even different countries. The mode of address is direct and it is pre-written and live. This means two things:
A) Any mistakes cant be undone or overwritten
B) Timing is everything
They get a certain amount of time in which they are allocated and need to stick with that time. I feel like the news was well produced and described everything it needed to. It wasn't gripping but it was informative. The news is targeted to a selection of the people who listen to the radio. It is a large section but it's targeted to those who want to know what happens in the world.
Travel:
In this section, the radio show gives a brief overview of any major traffic jams or issues within a select area. BBC Radio Cambridgeshire would give traffic exclusively to the county of Cambridgeshire. The travel sections are targeted to the commuters that are travelling by car or modes of transport that would be affected by the traffic.
Interviews:
The interview stage is where the presenters either bring in people or call people to talk about a specific subject. This is generally part of a presenters discussion and happens often as it makes the show more engaging for the audience. This would be targeted toward the people who want to engage with strangers about topics and to talk about things which are on common ground.
Presenter discussions:
Presenters generally give the main body of a radio show. They have to engage the listeners and have to be successful. They change up what they do daily but also have reoccurring elements that the listeners enjoy. This remixing it up would also include what they would pick for packages, tailoring it for different audiences so therefore would have different topics. The target audience for this would be towards regular listeners and towards people that like the mini-events that are held during the show.
